Internship and Dissertation

What is Internship?

Internship is a temporary position in a company where the emphasis is on the job training and furthering knowledge and experience in a particular field or fields that the internship role was created to cover.

Areas of Internship at OPEXCS?

Following are the high level areas where internship is offered. If your area of interest is not covered in the list, please do check with the recruitment/ internship team because there can be temporary internship requirements created based on the developments in OPEXCS business or because of client requirements.

Internship opportunities are currently available for graduate or post graduate students who fall into the following categories

  • Gain further knowledge or practical experience in their area of study
  • For the purpose of dissertation or project report writing
  • To gain experience and try out different options before they choose the career path they want to pursue

Selected interns are assigned with roles where they are going to shadow a junior resource in the firm or are going to work as part of a larger group lead by an experienced consultant. They can be utilized to conducted deep dive business analysis or draft up proposal or recommendations for the client or be the part of a team involved in management consulting activities at client site or be involved with solution delivery. One thing that is assured is - be it any of the areas where you get deployed - learning is steep, work would be hand on, content for your dissertation or CV would be rich and you get real sense of job satisfaction and being a part of team that achieves tangible results for their clients

From minimum of three months to maximum of nine months. Please note that if the intern doesn't perform to the expected standards, the internship can be prematurely concluded with a week's notice. Similarly if the intern decides to leave, they can do so with a week's notice.
